Full Ambit Media

It's been a few weeks since we made a blog post, but not because we haven't been busy...

SiteSense

Full Ambit Media is infinitely proud to announce the first packaged public release of our open source web application framework, content management system and blog publishing platform. SiteSense is simple but powerful, flexible, secure and high-performance. But, best of all, SiteSense is entirely free to use.

The Full Ambit Media website which you're likely reading this on is powered by SiteSense. Many of our clients, like us, have opted to use SiteSense to power their web applications instead of Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla, Magento or ExpressionEngine. We challenge you to do the same by giving SiteSense a try today!

Once you're up and running on SiteSense, we have a few resources in place to help you:

But, what we have in store is just as exciting:

  • Official SiteSense blog
  • GitHub powered customizations directory
  • Screenshots
  • Feature list
  • More developer documentation

and much more!

A bit of history...

SiteSense has been in development for over 3 years. Many developers from all around the world have contributed in that time, but still the bulk of the work was done internally at Full Ambit Media. A vision of Full Ambit Media's CEO, Alex Stanford, SiteSense has grown from humble beginnings without changing course from it's "keep it simple" architecture. Today SiteSense is arguably the best way to rapidly produce high quality web applications without sacrificing security or performance.

Excellent! I'll have a few sites coming out soon which will be based more or less entirely on SiteSense.

Keep up the great work guys! Sublime Design will be launching a SiteSense based website in the near future. Looking forward to the GitHub powered customizations directory!
